The present invention provides an image processing device, image capture device, image processing method, and program relating to a point image restoration processing technique which can be executed with a streamlined processing configuration while minimizing restoration filter data volume. Restored image data is acquired by applying a restoration filter based on a point spread function of an optical assembly upon raw image data which is acquired by photography using the optical assembly (S13: filter application step). A gain adjustment is carried out on the difference between the raw image data and the restored image data, and recovered image data is acquired from the adjusted difference and the raw image data (S15: gain adjustment step). In the filter adjustment step, a common filter which is determined regardless of the value of the optical zoom magnification of the optical assembly is used as the restoration filter, and in the gain adjustment step, the gain is determined on the basis of the optical zoom magnification of the optical assembly. |
