<p>A permanent magnet engine comprises at least one cylinder (1) adapted to be secured with the engine body (2). A reciprocating piston (4) having at least one permanent magnet (3) secured therewith at one end thereof is disposed in each of the cylinder (1). A connecting rod (6) adapted to be secured at other end of the piston (4) is provided to connect said piston (4) with a crankshaft (7) such that to provide rotational movement to the crankshaft (7). At least one movable permanent magnet (5) provided with a timing shaft (9) is provided above the cylinder (1) to repel similar pole of the magnet (3) provided with the piston (4) to generate power stroke upon movement of the movable permanent magnet (5). A flywheel (10) is provided at one end of the crankshaft (7) such that to provide momentum to the crankshaft (7). Rotating means (8) are provided at one side of the engine such that to provide rotational movement to the movable permanent magnets (5). Engagement and disengagement means (18) are provided to couple the shaft (9) of the movable permanent magnets (5) when required. Another flywheel (11) adapted to be rotated by starting means (11A) is provided at other end of the crankshaft (7) such that to coupled with a gear box through a clutch assembly. An air filter assembly (55) is provided with the engine body (2) to facilitate entry of air into the piston cylinder assembly.</p> |
