<p>A therapeutic bed for prevention of and to assist healing bedsores, intended for the short term and long term care of bedridden patients by utilizing extra gaps created on the bed surface without disturbing the position of the patient and without requirement of any electrical power supply, comprising a set of odd (11) and even (12) cushioned thick slats of similar size placed alternatively with gaps in-between them, the alternating up and down movement of the odd and even thick slats at the pre-determined location and height creating additional gaps in the bed surface that relieves pressure and circulates fresh air through the said gaps created at different pre-determined locations on the bed surface thus prevents formation of bed sores and possibly assists in healing of formed bed sores, by achieving pressure relief and aeration throughout body surface of the patient at different moments without moving the patient.</p> |
