PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of effectively recovering various metals, such as rare metals, noble metals and the like, from an electronic substrate to be disposed.SOLUTION: A recovery method of metals from an electronic substrate to be disposed comprises: a melting step of melting an electronic substrate to be disposed together with glass, thereby forming a glass phase and a metallic phase caused by metals included in at least one of the electronic substrate and the glass; a metal recovery step of recovering the metallic phase by separation from the glass phase; and an acid extraction step of bringing the glass phase into contact with an acid solution. The glass phase has a first phase comprising silica as a main component, and a second phase having higher solubility to the acid solution than that of the first phase. In the acid extraction step, the second phase is dissolved in the acid solution together with residual metal therein, and the acid solution in which the residual metal is dissolved is recovered. |
