<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tip replaceable rotary cutting tool capable of machining plural grooves with high efficiency simultaneously.SOLUTION: The tip replaceable rotary cutting tool comprises a body 2, a locator 3, a cutting insert 4, and a press member 5. Blade parts 7 are provided in an integrated state on an outer peripheral surface of the body 2, and the blade parts 7 are arranged in parallel on the outer peripheral surface over plural rows so that plural blade parts are arranged for one row, and the locator 3 is attached to the blade part 7. A salient 14 is formed on a surface of the locator 3 contacting the cutting insert 4. A recess 21 is formed on a surface of the cutting insert 4 contacting the locator 3, and the recess 21 on the cutting insert 4 is fitted to the salient 14 on the locator 3. A side surface of the salient 14 on the locator 3 on the locator tip end side and a corresponding inside side surface of the recess 21 on the cutting insert 4 contact each other, and a gapαis formed between a base end side wall surface of the locator 3 and a side surface of the cutting insert 4 on the body 2 side.</p> |
