<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the voltage surge of a rectifier diode, and to up-size a snubber circuit, in a full-bridge converter of phase shift control type where a resonant choke is inserted into the primary side.SOLUTION: An output choke is short-circuited, and rectifier diodes 11-14 are used in current discontinuous mode. Current waveform becomes triangular waveform in the current discontinuous mode, and such a problem that the conduction loss increases due to increase in the effective value is solved by employing a multilevel converter thereby suppressing the peak value of a current.</p> |
