PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplification device with a distortion compensation device which costs less.SOLUTION: An amplification device 20 includes an amplifier 164, a distortion compensation section 161 for compensating for a distortion of the amplifier 164, and an adjustment processing section 200 for adjusting an idle current of the amplifier 164 in accordance with a temporal variation in the idle current. Dormancy information indicating a dormant timing when a signal amplified by the amplifier is dormant is acquired from outside, and the temporal variation in the idle current is compensated for on the basis of the dormancy information.
