Disclosed are a method and device for accessing a website. The method comprises: acquiring a URL conforming to a preset condition; determining a server corresponding to the URL and establishing a transmission layer connection therewith; and when receiving an instruction to access a website corresponding to the URL, sending to the server a network request for acquiring a webpage content of the website by using the transmission layer connection. The solution provided in the present invention can save time for establishing the transmission layer connection, thereby improving the efficiency of accessing the website; moreover, when pre-establishing the transmission layer connection with the server, data packets generated with the server are very few, thereby greatly reducing network traffic; and in addition, before receiving the instruction to access the website corresponding to the URL, only the transmission layer connection with the server is established, and more data will not be requested to the server, so that very few system resources such as memory and a processor are occupied. |
