PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient production method of flaky graphite with high conductivity and high thermal conductivity, and to provide a dispersion of flaky graphite with high conductivity and high thermal conductivity.SOLUTION: Flaky graphite is produced by a method having: a step to mix graphite and a solid dispersing agent for dispersing the graphite; and a step to separate flaky graphite by adding a solvent for dissolving the solid dispersing agent to the mixture resulting from mixing treatment. In this case, it is preferable that the solid dispersing agent is an organic compound including a triazine ring in the structure thereof, and it is preferable that the solvent for dissolution is hot water and the separation of the flaky graphite is performed by ultrasonic wave irradiation. In addition, the dispersion of flaky graphite comprises flaky graphite, of which the content of oxygen is in the range of 3 to 8 atom%, dispersed in the solvent. |
