PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin type LED illumination device in which an LED lamp body can be easily mounted particularly on a vertical surface, which has a simple configuration and which is low at cost.SOLUTION: An LED illumination device includes: an LED substrate 22 on which an LED element 23 is mounted; an LED lamp body 2 having a lighting unit 27 on which electronic components configuring a lighting circuit for lighting driving the LED element 23 are mounted; and a mounting plate 1 which allows the LED lamp body 2 to be mounted on a part to be mounted on a vertical surface. The mounting plate 1 is fixed to the part to be mounted by fixing means 6. The mounting plate 1 and the LED lamp body 2 have a power supply hole in which an external power source line drawn out of an insertion hole of the external power source line formed at the part to be mounted. The LED lamp body 2 includes an LED irradiation part at a front part, and a back surface part 21h of the LED lamp body can be mounted on the mounting plate 1. Between the back surface part 21h of the LED lamp body and the mounting plate 1, a space part is formed in which the fixing means 6 is arranged. |
