摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for usage for a display, other active electronic devices and a package for an optical device, having high mechanical strength and low thermal shrinkage.SOLUTION: A process includes: a step for supplying a first viscous flow material consisting of a glass material, a glass ceramic material or polymer material, to a first overflow passage; a step for making the first viscous fluid material overflow by such a controlled way that forms first tabular flow with at least one non-contact surface of fire polish quality; a step for supplying the first tabular flow to a float bath; a step for supplying a second viscous fluid material consisting of a glass material, a glass ceramic material or polymer material, to a second overflow passage; making the second viscous fluid material overflow by such a controlled way that forms second tabular flow with at least one non-contact surface of the fire polish quality; a step for supplying the second tabular flow to a float bath; a step for merging the first and second tabular flow in the float bath, and forming laminate flow with at least one non-contact surface of the fire polish quality; and a step for deriving the laminate flow to a laminate plate.
