NOSE STRUCTURE FOR RAILWAY VEHICLE

This nose structure for a railway vehicle includes: a roof structure (5) which is positioned above an operator-cab window (10); and an underframe (2). The underframe (2) includes a pair of side beams, and a central beam which extends in a vehicle length direction between the pair of side beams. Collision posts (3) are provided upright at a tip of the central beam. Pillars (41), which extend so as to partition the operator-cab window (10), are provided to the operator-cab window (10). The pillars (41) each have one end thereof joined to one of the collision posts (3), and another end thereof joined to the roof structure (5), and thereby couple the roof structure (5) and the collision posts (3).
