This tilting pad bearing (1) is provided with: tilting pads (3) arranged around a rotating shaft (300); a housing (2) having lubricating oil supply holes (2e) provided at the positions facing the gaps (S1) between adjacent ones of the tilting pads; and a pair of side plates (5) provided so as to sandwich the tilting pads. The tilting pads are each provided with an internal flow passage (6) which has a first inlet opening (7a1), a second inlet opening (8a1), and discharge openings (7b1, 8b1) and through which lubricating oil flows. |
