摘要 <p>HAND HELD SURGICAL HANDLE ASSEMBLY, SURGICAL ADAPTERS FOR USE BETWEEN SURGICAL HANDLE ASSEMBLY AND SURGICAL END EFFECTORS, AND METHODS OF USE An electromechanical surgical system comprising a hand-held surgical device (100) including a device housing defining a connecting portion (108a) and a first drive shaft (242) rotatably supported in the device housing and an adapter (200) assembly for selectively interconnecting an end effector (300) and the surgical device (100), the adapter (200) assembly including an adapter (200) housing configured and adapted for selective connection to the connecting portion (108a) of the surgical device (100) and to be in operative communication with the first drive shaft (242) of the surgical device (100) and a first drive converter assembly (240) including a first distal drive shaft rotatably supported in the adapter housing, wherein a proximal end of the first distal drive shaft is connectable to the first drive shaft (242) of the surgical device, a drive coupling nut (244) non-rotatably disposed within the adapter housing and threadably connected to a threaded distal portion of the first distal drive shaft and a drive tube (246) having a proximal end connected to the drive coupling nut (244) and a distal end configured for selective engagement with at least one axially translatable drive member of the end effector (300), wherein rotation of the first drive shaft (242) of the surgical device results in rotation of the first distal drive shaft, and wherein rotation of the first distal drive shaft effects axial translation of the drive coupling nut (244) and the drive tube (246).</p>
