PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tower for tsunami evacuation, which can keep costs low by being less subjected to restrictions on an installation place by virtue of a simple structure comprising a concrete column rising from a ground surface, a refuge base held in an upper part of the concrete column, and lifting and lowering means for ascending to the refuge base from the ground surface.SOLUTION: A tower for tsunami evacuation comprises a concrete column rising from a ground surface, a refuge base held in an upper part of the concrete column, and lifting and lowering means for ascending to the refuge base from the ground surface.
