PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation due to reflection return light and improve high-speed and long-range transmission performance and linearity while providing a structure in which an LD is integral with a PD.SOLUTION: An optical transceiver comprises: an optical modulator integrated laser diode in which an electroabsorption semiconductor optical modulator and a laser diode are integrated; a constant current source supplying a drive current to the laser diode; a constant voltage source applying a bias voltage to the semiconductor optical modulator; coupling/decoupling means for decoupling/coupling a transmission signal transmitted to the semiconductor optical modulator from/with a reception signal from the semiconductor optical modulator; and power feeding means for feeding the bias voltage from the constant voltage source and transmission signal from the coupling/decoupling means to the semiconductor optical modulator.
