PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact light source device that emits primary color light and excitation light with high luminance and high color reproducibility.SOLUTION: A light source device includes: a light source unit; and a light source control unit. The light source unit includes: a first light source 71A that emits light of a first wavelength to be used as excitation light for excitation of a fluorescent body; and a second light source 71B that emits light of a second wavelength having a different wavelength within a wavelength band of a same color system with respect to the light of the first light source 71A. The light source control unit controls lighting of the first light source 71A and the second light source 71B independently.
