<p>Provided is a method for treating breast cancer. The method comprises first checking the ER-α36 expression in the tumor sample tissue of a breast cancer patient via immunohistochemistry, and administering an aromatase enzyme inhibitor to the patient if the ER-α36 expression is high.</p>
