PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a communication time interval in radio communication between a vehicle and a mobile communication terminal, to thereby enable both power consumption reduction and appropriate service provision.SOLUTION: When an authentication ECU 10 of a vehicle 1 is radio connected to a mobile communication terminal 2, communication is performed at fixed communication time intervals. According to the communication result, the authentication ECU 10 controls the operation of a specific apparatus provided in the vehicle 1. At that time, the mobile communication terminal 2 acquires motion information indicative of a moving state of the mobile communication terminal 2. According to the moving state indicated by the acquired motion information, either one of the authentication ECU 10 and the mobile communication terminal 2 determines the communication time intervals. The authentication ECU 10 and the mobile communication terminal 2 communicate according to the determined communication time intervals.
