<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system that allows improving security strength compared to an information processing system in which the code length of an authentication code has a fixed value.SOLUTION: A communication device 2 transmits, to a semiconductor memory device 3, an authentication code S(N) for causing the semiconductor memory device 3 to recognize the communication device 2. The semiconductor memory device 3 recognizes the communication device 2 on the basis of the authentication code S(N).
