摘要 An abnormality detection device (10) includes tuyere cameras (31) positioned near a plurality of blast-furnace (1) tuyeres (11), and an image processing device (7). A representative-brightness-vector collection unit (773) in the image processing device (7) determines a representative brightness on the basis of the brightness value of each pixel for each tuyere image captured simultaneously in advance by the tuyere cameras (31), and chronologically collects representative brightness vectors. An indicator extraction unit (775) extracts a principal component vector by performing a principal component analysis of the chronologically collected representative brightness vectors. In addition, the representative-brightness-vector collection unit (773) collects a representative brightness vector from the tuyere images simultaneously captured by the tuyere cameras (31) during operation. An abnormality-detection processing unit (777) detects an abnormality in the blast furnace (1) by calculating the length of a perpendicular line extending downward in a principal-component-vector direction from the collected representative brightness vector as an assessment value, and comparing the assessment value with a prescribed threshold.
