Provided are a network control method and apparatus. The method comprises: acquiring network resource information and operation state information about each controller in a controller cluster, the controller cluster comprising a child domain controller and a father controller, wherein the child domain controller finds and controls a child domain network, and the father controller controls a global network based on the child domain controller; determining a fault controller; determining a backup controller according to the network resource information and operation state information about each controller in the controller cluster; and forwarding network resource information about the fault controller to the backup controller so as to enable the backup controller to control a network controlled by the fault controller. The present invention is used for solving the problem of network congestion arising from the performance of an SDN controller not meeting requirements when a network controlled by the SDN controller in the prior art is relatively large. |
