PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion generation device in which generated ions are efficiently emitted from an injection port and an ion flow maintaining a predetermined ion concentration can be generated, and which is capable of also maintaining a speed in a rectilinear propagation direction while uniformly spreading the ion flow emitted from the injection port within a range of the injection port.SOLUTION: On the assumption that the device injects ion generated by discharging between a discharge electrode 27 and ground electrodes 28 and 30 from an ion injection height, the discharge electrode 27 is a pipe-shaped discharge electrode with which a fluid passage is formed for passing a pressure fluid. The pressure fluid flowing out of the pipe-shaped discharge electrode 27 and a revolving flow guided to the periphery of the pipe-shaped discharge electrode 27 by revolving flow generation means 25 are confluent, thereby emitting ions from an ion injection port 29a. |
