PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless power transmission device which can prevent useless power consumption when a power supply module and a power reception module are not in a feeding area, by differentiating the phase of the input impedance when the power supply module and power reception module are in the feeding area and when they are not in the feeding area, and determining whether or not power is supplied by detecting the phase difference.SOLUTION: A wireless power transmission device 1 includes a power supply module 2, a power reception module 3, a phase detector 4, and a control apparatus 5. The values of transmission characteristics for the power supply frequency are set to have bimodal characteristics, and the control apparatus 5 determines whether or not power is supplied to the power supply module 2, by using the difference between the phase of an input impedance Zin standby state, and the phase of an input impedance Zin power supply state, the phases being detected by the phase detector 4. |
