PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely fix a panel to a plate material without fail.SOLUTION: A panel fixing structure for fixing a cover 1 as a panel to a sheet metal component 3 as a plate material through a screw 7, includes a plate nut 2 having a rectangular body portion 2m, a first projecting portion 2b projecting from a part of a long side of the body portion 2m, and a second projecting portion 2c projecting from the other long side of the body portion 2m, and separable from the cover 1, and a mounting portion 11 having a mounting hole 11g capable of accommodating the body portion 2m inside, and an extraction hole 11h as an extension hole to which the first projecting portion 2b is extended, and disposed on an inner face side of the cover 1. The total length of the plate nut 2 including short sides of the body portion 2m, a height of the first projecting portion 2b and a height of the second projecting portion 2c, is longer than the long side of the body portion 2m, and a width of the mounting hole 11g of the mounting portion 11 is shorter than the total length of the plate nut 2 and longer than the long side of the body portion 2m. |
