<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture recorder which prevents a failure of picture recording caused by the combination of a recording mode and a storage medium.SOLUTION: The picture recorder comprises: a recording programming setting unit which sets recording programming of a TV program; a recording mode selection unit which selects from plural recording modes the recording mode of the TV program whose recording programming is set by the recording programming setting unit; a storage medium selection unit which selects from plural storage mediums the storage destination of the TV program whose recording programming is set by the recording programming setting unit; and a limiting unit which limits a recording mode or a storage medium which can be selected on the basis of the other of the recording mode or the storage medium selected by either the recording mode selection unit or the storage medium selection unit.</p> |
