发明名称 Mechanical Aspects of a Battery Pack for a Medical Therapy Device
摘要 A battery pack comprises: a body; a latching mechanism positioned at an upper corner of the body and configured to be placed in an extended position to grasp a portion of an upper edge of the battery well when the battery pack is positioned within the battery well and a depressed position to allow removal of the battery pack from the battery well. The battery pack is inserted into the battery well by orienting the bottom side of the body with a bottom edge of the battery well and rotating the battery pack into the battery well such that the latching mechanism engages the portion of the upper edge of the battery well to move the latching mechanism to the depressed position and continued rotation of the battery pack allows the latching mechanism to return to the extended position to grasp the portion of the upper edge of the battery well.

主权项 1. A battery pack for use in a defibrillator having a battery well, the battery pack comprising: a body having at least a front side, rear side, top side, and bottom side; a latching mechanism positioned at an upper corner of the top side of the body and configured to be placed: in an extended position to grasp a portion of an upper edge of the battery well when the battery pack is positioned within the battery well; andin a depressed position to allow removal of the battery pack from the battery well; and a biasing element positioned within the latching mechanism configured to bias the latching mechanism to the extended position, wherein the battery pack is inserted into the battery well by orienting the bottom side of the body with a bottom edge of the battery well and rotating the battery pack into the battery well such that the latching mechanism engages the portion of the upper edge of the battery well to move the latching mechanism to the depressed position and continued rotation of the battery pack allows the latching mechanism to return to the extended position to grasp the portion of the upper edge of the battery well.
