A power supply device and power supply control method. The power supply device comprises N+m power supply conversion modules, wherein N power supply conversion modules are the main power supply conversion modules. The power supply conversion module comprises a detecting and switching unit (21) and a conversion unit (22). The detecting and switching unit is respectively connected with the output end of a first alternating power supply and the output end of a second alternating power supply for monitoring operating states of the first alternating power supply and operating states of the second alternating power supply in real time, closing the path between one of the first alternating power supply and the second alternating power supply in a normal operating state and the conversion unit, and switching off the path between the other of the first alternating power supply and the second alternating power supply and the conversion unit. The conversion unit is used for converting the output voltage from the power supply in the passage closed by the detecting and switching unit into a direct voltage required by a load. Accordingly, the number of the power supply conversion modules in the power supply device is reduced. |
