The objective of the present invention is to implement a sensor data collection system having a real-time characteristic with respect to highly urgent data, as well as flexibility in terms of the ability to dynamically change the collected data, while reducing the load on a server, and the amount of communication. The sensor data collection system according to the present invention is configured from: one or more sensors; a gateway device that collects/converts/processes/determines a threshold value for/compresses data collected from the sensors, and is capable of transmitting this data to a data collection server at a specific set time; and the data collection server, which collects the sensor data from the gateway device. The data collection server has a means that compresses the settings for the conversion/processing/threshold value determination/compression/transmission time of the sensor data to binary, which is then transmitted to the gateway device. The gateway device has a means which executes the conversion/processing/threshold value determination/compression of the data collected from the sensors, in accordance with the various settings that have been compressed to binary, and transmits the sensor data to the data collection server at the set transmission time. |
