<p>The present invention relates to a device for protecting electronic equipment with a battery inserted therein from flooding. More specifically, the present invention relates to a device for protecting electronic equipment with a battery inserted therein from flooding, wherein the electronic equipment with a battery inserted therein has planar conductors, which are electrically connected to a first electrode terminal and a second electrode terminal of the battery, respectively. A flow path from the battery to the planar conductors and a flow path from the battery to a printed circuit board, etc. are connected in parallel in an electrical circuit so that the amount of current flowing to the planar conductors, which have a relatively much smaller electric resistance, becomes greater than the amount of current flowing to the printed circuit board, etc. Therefore, even if the electronic equipment is flooded, almost no current is supplied to the printed circuit board, etc., so that various electric and electronic devices mounted on the printed circuit board can be prevented from being damaged or destroyed. As such, on flooding, electronic equipment and internal components of the device, such as a circuit element, are prevented from being damaged, so that the electronic equipment is reusable as long as moisture is sufficiently dried.</p> |
