PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a throughput as a whole system without drastically modifying a distributed control system and a concentrated control system in existing IEEE802.11 standards.SOLUTION: In a wireless communication method, a plurality of terminals are connected to a base station, and a transmission right is given to a terminal that is set in a destination field of a CTS frame transmitted by the base station, and transmission prohibition is set to the other terminals only for a time period set in a Duration field of the CTS frame. The base station groups a plurality of terminals, and sets information on the group to the destination field of the CTS frame and transmits the CTS frame. The terminal recognizes the information on the group set in the destination field of the CTS frame, and when belonging to a group other than the recognized group, sets transmission prohibition only for a time period set in the Duration field of the CTS frame. When belonging to the recognized group, the terminal in the group performs transmission by a CSMA/CA system. |
