PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device capable of stabilizing sealability.SOLUTION: A sealing device 100 seals an annular gap between a rotation shaft 200 and a housing 300 having a shaft hole 310 in which the rotation shaft 200 is inserted. The sealing device 100 has: a packing 110 including a lip part 112 having a slide face 112a that can slide against an outer periphery of the rotation shaft 200, and an inclined face 112b whose diameter is enlarged toward an anti-sealing fluid side from a sealing fluid side; an annular adapter 120 provided nearer the sealing fluid side than the packing 110 and elastically deforming the lip part 112 so that the slide face 112a comes into close contact with the outer periphery of the rotation shaft 200 by pressing the inclined face 112b; and a spring 130 for applying an elastic force to the adapter 120 toward the anti-sealing fluid side from the sealing fluid side. The packing 110 has a fixing part 113 extending toward the housing 300, and the housing 300 has a holding part for holding the fixing part. |
