PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a determination device and a determination method for determining the kind of a power supply apparatus automatically, in a power converter employing a DC link.SOLUTION: A connected power supply apparatus is determined automatically by a determination device including a plurality of connections capable of connecting a plurality of power supply apparatus, a plurality of voltage conversion units to be connected in series with the plurality of connections, a voltage measurement unit for measuring each output voltage value after passing through the plurality of voltage conversion units, and a control unit having means for determining a plurality of power supply apparatus on the basis of the voltage measurement results from the voltage measurement unit when the step-up ratios of the plurality of voltage conversion units are the same. |
