PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling performance by using an insulation member, which insulates between coils in each slot, and equally reducing the temperatures of the coils wound around the corresponding slots arranged in a circumferential direction of a stator.SOLUTION: A generator motor comprises: a stator that has a stator iron core 1 having slots and teeth and fixed to a case 8; a rotor 5 rotated around a rotation shaft 6; an armature coil 4 wound around the teeth between the adjacent slots; and a liquid coolant dropped and/or injected to the coil end part of the armature coil 4. Insulation members 12 are provided for electrically insulating coils one of which is wound around one side in each slot and the other one of which is wound around the other side therein. A conduction passage, along which the liquid coolant 20 is conducted toward the center of a rotary shaft 6 from the coil end part 4 side, is formed in each insulation member 12. Additionally, a recessed part 11 for the conduction passage along which the liquid coolant 20 is conducted is provided at the top part of the insulation member 12. The recessed part 11 is formed shallow on the coil end part side and deep on the central side of the rotation shaft. |
