PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently recover latent heat of exhaust gas while preventing corrosion of a heat-transfer pipe group.SOLUTION: An exhaust gas latent heat recovery device 10 comprises: a duct 1 which forms an upward exhaust gas flow passage 7 where exhaust gas upwardly flows; a plurality of heat-transfer pipes 3 which are arranged in the upward exhaust gas flow passage 7; and a water receiver 5 which is arranged in the upward exhaust gas flow passage 7 and stores drippage falling in drops from the plurality of heat-transfer pipes 3. The exhaust gas latent heat recovery device 10 can: prevent corrosion of the plurality of heat-transfer pipes 3 by keeping external surfaces of the plurality of heat-transfer pipes 3 in a wet state; and shorten a period that the exhaust gas is kept in contact with the drippage before the exhaust gas contacts the plurality of heat-transfer pipes 3 by storing the drippage with the water receiver 5. Thus, the exhaust gas latent heat recovery device 10 can reduce condensation of the exhaust gas before the same contacts the plurality of heat-transfer pipes 3 by the drippage and thereby efficiently recover latent heat of the exhaust gas through the plurality of heat-transfer pipes 3. |
