According to the present invention, a photocurable primer composition for optical articles is provided, which comprises an aqueous dispersion containing urethane (meth)acrylate and a photopolymerization initiator, wherein the elongation percentage of a cured product produced only from the urethane (meth)acrylate is 0.1 to 10% at 25°C. The primer composition according to the present invention enables the formation of a laminate structure having high surface hardness and scratch resistance, and therefore enables the production of a photochromic laminate having excellent adhesiveness and photochromic properties.
