The objective of the present invention is to provide a method and apparatus for determining a PCRF (202). First, correspondence relationships between subscribers and PCRFs are preset in a HSS (201), and a same PCRF (202) is configured to subscribers belonging to the same subscriber group. Then, the MME (203) or AF or 3GPP AAA server sends a query message (S402) to the HSS (201), obtains (S403) the PCRF (202) corresponding to a certain subscriber, and then sends (S404) the PCRF information to a S-GW (204) or a P-GW (205) or an ePDG. In this way, the S-GW or P-GW or ePDG may send (S405, S408) messages related to the same subscriber or the same subscriber group to the same PCRF (202). By adopting the present invention, a network element may send to the same PCRF messages related to the same subscriber or the same subscriber group as required to be sent to the PCRFs, such that the same PCRF performs a uniform control to all related sessions of the same subscriber or the same subscriber group. |
