PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray generator and an X-ray inspection device capable of more reliably shielding X-rays without causing cooling efficiency to decline.SOLUTION: Provided is an X-ray generator 100, comprising: a radiator 11 having a base plate for blocking a container opening 17 of a container 7 in which an X-ray tube 8 is accommodated and which is filled with an insulation oil 9, and provided with cooling fins 13 penetrating the base plate 12, heat-absorbing ends 14 of which are immersed in the insulation oil 9, and heat-radiating ends 15 of which protrude outward from the container 7; a shielding member 18 attached to the container 7 covering the heat-radiating ends 15 side of the cooling fins 13 and formed in shape of approximately the letter U, both ends of the shielding member 18 constituting supply/exhaust openings 26, 26; a chamber 27 connected to the shielding member 18 via supply/exhaust spaces 28 of the supply/exhaust openings 26, 26; and a pair of ducts 30, 30 connected to the chamber 27 communicating to the supply/exhaust spaces 28 in a direction in which the radiation face on a radiation side of the radiator 11 is invisible from an open end 31 by intersecting an extension line 29 passing through both of the supply/exhaust openings 26, 26. |
