PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical source apparatus and an optical engine including an optical source apparatus ensuring high heat radiation of a semiconductor laser device, and capable of ensuring effective cooling while preventing the influence of air, eventually the influence of the air of a cooling fan on emitted light, and of suppressing reduction in the intensity of the light passing through the optical engine or/and suppressing degradation in color purity by hermetically closing all optical paths relevant to the light passing through the optical engine.SOLUTION: A light source apparatus comprising: a semiconductor laser device including a heat radiation surface; and a heat radiation member 60 in contact with a light emission side, on the heat radiation surface, of the semiconductor laser apparatus, the heat radiation member 60 including a window from which light from the semiconductor laser device is emitted, and a windshield cylinder 80 provided in the window. |
