PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor reduction in performance to take in the outside air by temperature measurement at one measurement point.SOLUTION: An image projection device according to the present invention includes an intake port to take in the outside air to cool the inside of a housing, a heat generator that is provided in the vicinity of the intake port and generates heat when power is supplied, a temperature sensor that is provided adjacent to the heat generator, and a control unit that monitors reduction in the flow rate of the outside air taken in through the intake port on the basis of the temperature measurement of the temperature sensor.
