<p>A transparent display device, comprising: a display panel (1); a system light source (2) located on a non-display surface of the display panel (1); an item placement region (6) located at the side of the system light source (2) away from the display panel (1); an encapsulation box (3) arranged between the system light source (2) and the item placement region (6), wherein an electrochromic material is contained in the encapsulation box (3); and a control component (4) which can instruct the electrochromic material in the encapsulation box (3) to switch to a transparent state and a coloured state in sub-regions. The electrochromic material in the encapsulation box (3) can switch to a transparent state and a coloured state in sub-regions by controlling whether to charge a transparent electrode group, thus being able to realize the transparent display of the sub-regions, thereby improving the application range of the transparent display device.</p> |
