<p>The present invention provides a liquid, orally deliverable vitamin D composition, comprising non-animal derived vitamin D3, present as cholecalciferol, or a salt thereof, in an amount of about 501U to about 20001U per dose, in a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, wherein the composition is substantially free of artificial preservatives. The invention also provides methods of treating or preventing a disease or condition associated with vitamin D deficiency in a human subject and methods for supplementing a subject's vitamin D intake.</p> |
