<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rust removing unit capable of greatly reducing labor and time, compared to a conventional technique of manually removing rust on the outer peripheral surface of a bolt and the vicinity of the bottom with a wire brush.SOLUTION: A rust removing unit is configured by inserting a wire rope 2 from a hole 4 provided on a circumference near a lower end of a cap 1 provided with a rotational axis 3 on the center of a top plate 1-1, inserting an external cylinder 5 into the cap 1 in a state of directing a tip 2-1 of the inserted wire rope 2 to the rotational axis 3, and holding the wire rope 2 between the outer surface of the cap 1 and the internal surface of the external cylinder 5. Rust on a bolt is removed by bringing the tip 2-1 of the wire rope 2 into contact with the outer periphery of the bolt 6, and rotating the rust removing unit around the rotational axis 3 with an electric drill. When the wire rope 2 is worn out, the external cylinder 5 is extracted and the wire rope 2 is set to an initial length so as to enable repeated use.</p> |
