The invention relates to methods for remotely observing a living entity and managing the care thereof. The method contains the following steps: forming a database of living entities and of conditions for caring for same; submitting a query regarding the availability of a living entity selected from the database; receiving a confirmation if the selected entity is available, or receiving a query failure message; transferring the selected entity to an enclosure for caring for same, said enclosure being equipped with a video camera which is connected to the Internet; observing the entity in real-time; sending commands and/or instructions selected from the database regarding caring for the living entity; carrying out the selected commands and/or instructions for caring for the entity.
