摘要 The present invention provides: a positive electrode body for solid electrolytic capacitor elements, which has a dielectric layer on the surface layer of a sintered body, and wherein at least some of the surfaces of valve-acting metal particles that constitute the sintered body are covered by the dielectric layer and a part of the dielectric layer on the particle surfaces has a larger thickness than the other parts; and a method for producing the positive electrode body for solid electrolytic capacitor elements, which comprises a process wherein a sintered body of a valve-acting metal is immersed in an aqueous oxidant solution after being subjected to chemical conversion, then the resulting sintered body is immersed in a water-soluble alcohol and dried, and after that the oxidant is removed therefrom by water washing. A positive electrode body according to the present invention is capable of providing a solid electrolytic capacitor element which is suppressed in capacity reduction due to excessive formation of a dielectric layer and has a small leakage current.
