PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking support apparatus and a parking support system, which enable reduction of a cost with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A parking support apparatus includes: first and second ultrasonic sensors 11, 12, disposed in a rear bumper of a vehicle C1 having a steering A3, for transmitting ultrasonic waves and receiving ultrasonic waves reflected on a target article X1; a distance calculation part 3 for calculating target article distances D1, D2 from the first and second ultrasonic sensors 11, 12 to the target article X1 on the basis of the ultrasonic waves transmitted and received by the first and second ultrasonic sensors 11, 12; a vehicle angle calculation part 4 for calculating a vehicle angle &thetas;1 on the basis of the target article distances D1, D2 and inter-sensor distance L1; and a steering-angle calculation part 5 for calculating a target steering angle &thetas;2a of the steering A3 so that a plane of the vehicle C1 is parallel to a plane of the target article X1 as the vehicle C1 approaches the target article X1. |
