PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set developing bias in an appropriate and accurate way in a developing method of transferring all toner layers formed on a developing roller onto a photoreceptor drum for development.SOLUTION: A linear velocity ratio setting unit 41 sets, during the adjustment period, the linear velocity ratio between a developing roller and photoreceptor drum lower than the linear velocity ratio during normal printing; a developing bias setting unit 42 and/or a conveyance bias setting unit 43 change developing bias and/or conveyance bias with respect to a plurality of toner marks, and determine a target developing bias value and/or a target conveyance bias value during normal printing from the density measurements of the plurality of toner marks. |
