PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber storage tray for optical transceiver, which requires a small installation space and is easy to install and remove and can be reduced in thickness, and an optical transceiver using the same.SOLUTION: The fiber storage tray for an optical transceiver is to be stored in a case body and includes a wiring space where excess length parts of optical fibers can be wound (wired), a spool around which the optical fibers can be wound, and an optical adapter storage part. The optical adapter storage part has such a width and a depth that two or more arrays in each of which two or more optical adapters are vertically placed can be arranged in parallel. The optical adapter storage part has such a space that not only the optical adapters but also optical connectors or both of optical connectors and optical attenuators can be stored and arranged. The optical transceiver has the optical fiber storage tray in a case body thereof, and two or more arrays in each of which two or more optical adapters are vertically placed are arranged in parallel in the optical adapter storage part of the tray, and optical fibers are connected to the optical adapters by optical connectors directly or via optical attenuators. |
