<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch a drive mode of a motor by a simple and inexpensive configuration.SOLUTION: A drive controller 10 drives a motor 50. A drive mode switching circuit 16 included in the drive controller 10 compares input timing between an encoder timing signal ENC based on an encoder signal Se from an encoder 30 which detects a rotor position of the motor 50 with a stepper drive timing signal STP based on a drive pulse signal Sp from outside. The drive mode switching circuit 16 outputs the drive mode switching signal Sc so as to switch from a control of a stepping motor mode to a control of a brushless motor mode when the stepper drive timing signal STP overtakes the encoder timing signal ENC, and switch from the control of the brushless motor mode to the control of the stepping motor mode when the encoder timing signal ENC overtakes the stepper drive timing signal STP.</p> |
