A method of attaching a hair piece to the head of the wearer, the hair piece comprising a foundation carrying natural and/or synthetic hair and an adherent track 5 around the periphery of the foundation, the method comprising the steps of: a. applying a double-sided adhesive tape to the track; b. applying to the first tape an adhesive tape consisting of a cloth substrate with adhesive at both sides; c. applying to the cloth tape a first layer of skin-safe adhesive by smearing the 10 adhesive and then repeatedly tacking the applied adhesive; d. applying a second layer of skin-safe adhesive over the first layer by the method of step c.; e. applying to the head of the wearer, where the track of the hair piece meets the head, a layer of skin-safe adhesive by smearing and tacking the applied adhesive; and 15 f. applying the hair piece to the head.</p> |
